NHS (hr query)

It's a bit of a moan really as well as couple of questions. I have worked for the NHS as a domestic for the last year. I work at a doctor's surgery 15 minutes drive from my house. On a few occasions I have been asked to cover at a surgery 5 minutes from house & have done so. Yesterday I received a voicemail message asking to work there on Thursday and Friday.
Is my supervisor meant to contact me outside working hours? I replied later via text as is often used as communication thAt I was sorry but I am unable to as I'm on leave on the Thursday ( she should know this but never does) & I would already be in the area of my normal place of work on the Friday. She replied that I had to work there, she couldn't be in two places at once blah blah.
Is this professional?
Another question, if I changed jobs to the same band would they match my increment or do you start at the bottom?
Thanks if you have got this far

can't answer the first part.

but re banding. if you are changing to a same/similar job description in the same banding (i.e. not admin to direct care) then you will be appointed at the same banding point or next point up. Your increment date may change though.

if you are changing to something different but same band, then it's back to the beginning unless you can justify staying at the same pay point.
