Pro rats holiday entitlement

Can somebody work out what holiday entitlement someone who is contracted to work 36 weeks per year should get.

28 x 36/52 = 19.5 days

Sorry posted to soon, the calculation was based on a standard 5 day working week. For a more accurate answer would need more details.

I'm anti rats so don't believe they should be entitled to any holiday

I need the answer in weeks not days as they only work 1 day per week.

Ok everyone working a full year is entitled to 5.6 weeks holiday
So as this is only 39/52 of a year then it is calculated as
5.6 x 39/52 = 4.2 days
I would round this up to 4.5 days

If someone works 1 day per week; they would be entitled to a minimum of 5.6 days paid holiday a year.

But they only work 36 weeks per year not 52 marie

Assuming that other employees also receive only the statutory minimum paid holiday entitlement.

Yes bank holidays are included (unless your contract gives them to you on top

She's the only employee, a part time student. I know I could get away with not paying holidays & shed be nine the wiser but I'm not like that.
