I've been in recruitment for 23yrs, the market has changed so much now that only the top talent gets hired, I am now concerned that thousands of young adults leave education with a terrible grasp of the job seeker basics, how to write CV's, what to say at interview, who to go to for advice. I want to reach out to those kids and find a way to get them what they need, delivered in the way they want not from some crusty careers advice person who has never worked in the real world - So I was wondering if mumsnet members think I should continue to try and create a business to reach out to schools, youth clubs, colleges etc or if the existing careers structure actually does what you need?? Any help useful before I commit more hard cash to this!
