Posted q a few times. Just had redundancies which took us from 21 to 15. I gained a team of 3 following this but no pay rise/promo (unlike some associate directors who went straight to directors. Two I agree with- one I don't as she's a total bitch! I have been landed with a certain type of work with one client and they are the client from HELL!!!!! So I am not happy just now. Maybe his will change, but had an interview with a job (via recruitment consultant for the company, had initial interview and will hear this week if I will go to the next interview. The former head of dept is the interviewer who still is close to our current head do dept. I hope he hasn't discussed my initial interview. ANYWAY due to the changes, i have been doing 66 hour weeks. But end of last week, I had to go of sick with chest infection (think I am really run down). Still feel crap and still have a temp but felt I had to go to back to work today due to backlog. ANYWAY a colleague has handed in their notice with immediate effect and so it means more workload for the rest of us on this particular project - mainly me having to train whoever comes on board (if we can attract staff with right experience).

An ongoing saga but head of dept made a comment re anyone else who is planning to leave..... Do you think my old boss has given her the heads up? Surely all confidential? Also now all of a sudden, it's like, training ban is lifted, choose a training course, oh we can offer your staff x,y and z. Are we on the up? I like my job but not the client and I have to deal with day in and day out and that will not change. Should I give it longer or jump ship now??????
