Is anyone a school bursar (sometimes called school business manager)?
I have a second interview next week at an independent school which involves a panel interview with the bursar, a trustee and governer and have a task to perform followed by presentation (on task).
Any ideas what the task may be? I guess maybe a cost centre report?
What questions should I ask and what characteristics would they be looking for?
I really want this job but have no experience in working in schools and although I am comfortable withthe numbers side of the role, I have no experience in HR management, estate management or IT which all report into this role - so I was shocked to be invited back for second interview.
Any help or ideas would help calm my nerves!
