I work in a company where we are performance rated on a number of targets - sales primarily but also the % of our time we spend working on client time.
All of this sets targets based on 25 days holiday and takes this into account.
Because of my holiday over mat leave adding up to so much I technically find myself with 45 days holiday this year. That's basically an extra month out of the office. Whilst with a lot of hard work I can make up the sales number there is almost no way I can meet the % based one.
Any experience out there? What should I do - just suck it up and accept that it's a downside to all this holiday? I'm tempted to argue my case.
