Home based transcriber starting up. Which software?

I have the prospect of some transcribing work and want to buy a foot pedal and some software. Can anyone let me know what I should be looking for?

I think I used express scribe - free software. Not sure where I got the foot pedal though.

It would more easy to find if you could tell in detail exactly which type of software you were seeking. charts software

I use Express Scribe, though not all aspects of it are free now so I had to upgrade (and pay) for Express Scribe Pro. That's pretty much all you need (plus Word), unless you're using file sharing services, which I'm still finding a bit of a minefield!
