Interview help needed HE Sector

Hi All

I have an interview coming up for an administrator's post at a Uni.
It will be working with postgrad students. Can anyone give me any pointers on likely interview questions and key areas of research...??

Any help appreciated.

I'm in HE but not in admin. All I can say is that HR constrain us to have questions that v v closely relate to the job description/ person spec. So those may give you good clues.

I work in HE and it is very important to have examples that relate to every point on the person spec. You must be able to provide evidence of what you have done previously as you will probably be scored on your answer. When they ask you a question make sure you give your example but then go in to more depth. Think about what impact your actions may have had on the service you provided e.g did your actions improve efficiency, cut costs, streamline processes etc...
