employer asking for return to work meeting

My employer has asked me to attend a return to work meeting and given me times during one week when he is available.

It's not the easiest week for me but I have agreed to attend. However I am only 6 months into my mat leave and not clear when I am likely to be going back. Baby is not taking a bottle and up at least twice a night so know it would be difficult to return at the moment.
I think I will be asked to return full time although I was part time previously. I also think I will be pushed to commit to a return date.

What are my rights about returning to work? I thought I only needed to give 28 days notice and that I was entitled to the same hours as before?
Any advice on handling this meeting?
Thanks

I would go in with an open mind to what they may say - why do you think they will want full time and commit to a return date?

your rights are broadly speaking go back to same T&C, so part-time and only need to gove a return to work date if less than 12 month maternity. Must give 8 weeks notice though.

Thanks caroldecker you're right i should have an open mind. The reason I think they will want full time is my maternity cover is doing the job full time and she has been told by HR that it is only until end July. I think they will have got used to someone in the role full time and want to continue with that.
