Employee - left within first month? do I need to pay through HMRC

HMRC or can I just pay her for the hours worked?

Would prefer the hassle of signing up and endiing all within the first month but will obviously do the right thing or can you just pay for the hours work and that's the end of it?

I've been googling.
She worked 35 hours from 28 May to 17 June. So less than lower limits earning and no P45 was given.
