Sent off my application today so cross fingers please

Have sent it off and I really really want it so please cross fingers for me.

Have worked out that I will be ever so slightly better off than I am now and thats good enough for me.

Might be a long wait though as it says to assume you have been unsuccesful if you haven't heard after 6 weeks Shock

It's for a job as a Health Care Assistant in the Child Assessment Unit of the local hospital.

It's part time 20 hours week but fits in with kids school hours nicely and I get to do my NVQ in care too.

I mentioned it to my Dd's by the way and they thought it was a great idea, until they realised that they'd have to go back to having packed lunches, as they love their school dinners.

Haven't heard anything yet but didn't really expect to because the closing date was only last friday.
