Is there a quick way to see how much PAYE and ers and ees Ni that is to be paid for a pay period?

I think I must be looking at it and not seeing it - it doesn't seem straightforward? Am I daft?

put the pay in gross and then before you hit submit on the rti it will let you look at the deductions confirmation = net pay if no other bits like pensions

TracyK · 21/06/2013 12:20

It doesn't have a report like the deductions working sheets like from the old ver then??

yes,
go into the employer
then into the employee
then into employee payments
then into employee pay and deductions summary
= P11

TracyK · 21/06/2013 13:07

soz - not thinking straight - a report like the old P32?

I knew you'd ask that!

employer
calculate payments due to hmrc
click on month 1 and hit calculate and the same for each month
then go into
employer payment summary

Thanks Talk - I wish they'd left it all alone! :)

do you remember the first version though? Truly dire .... it is actually getting more user friendly all the time

TracyK · 21/06/2013 14:10

I dont think so - using it for 2 or 3 years mibbe?

Are there any other free payroll packages out there - that do payslips? It takes me a bloody age to do a handful of little wages...

yes, go have a natter on the uk business forums

I do 6 payrolls but mostly nil tax : I have a spreadsheet that makes payslips

TracyK · 21/06/2013 20:57

yy - I have a spreadsheet - but they are becoming a pia. One client uses dropbox to store the payslips and the folders have all gotten screwed up!

I couldn't see this month what the Employer NI should be per employee. I got the total but not the breakdown. I'm hoping this will be fixed with a new update for next month.

Anyone else had this problem?
