My children are now 9 & 12 years old and I feel ready to go back to work part time. I'm currently working as a MDSA at the local primary school, but would love to work as a Teaching Assistant. I have looked into online TA courses, but am confused as to which course to go for, as there are so many on offer. I already have a NVQ Level 2 qualification in Childcare. Does that mean I could go straight to Level 3 or Diploma? Can anyone help, please?
Thank you

Don't do an online course, they're worthless, you need to do a course with a practical component such as an NVQ. You would be able to do a Level 3 course as you have a Level 2 qualification. Search the archive for similar threads for more information, there have been loads.

Thank you, SleepyCatOnTheMat, will look in the archive. As I'm already working at a Primary School as an MDSA, I'm hoping to be able to have a placement there ... :-)
