Apologies if this is the wrong place but was not sure where the most appropriate place is!

I need a new CV and wondered if anyone can reccomend a CV writing service. I know I could do it myself but sales and writing are not my strongest skills.

Thank you

Are you currently in a job? If not the job centre have people that can help with this and Los arrange things like basic excel training. My sister used them.

I looked at this myself recently and the gist of most advice I read was that they aren't worth the money. Firstly, because some of them are actually quite poor (factual and grammatical errors) and secondly, because it's obvious that they've been written by a third party and you should have your own voice in there.

I think the best thing to do is to draft it and ask friends and family for opinions (or ex-colleagues you're friendly with, if you have any technical bits / jargon in there which you want someone to cast an eye over).
