Cut short Maternity Leave to save?

Hi all,

I am currently on maternity leave and will drop to SMP for 2 months after which ds will go to nursery (he'll be 9 months) and I'll go back to full time work.

Whilst I have saved enough money to cover the drop in income for 2 months, I am also saving for a deposit for a house. At this point, I am wondering whether I should go back to work sooner i.e. when DS is 8 months thus saving some money or whether I just enjoy the time I have with him irrespective of money. I love spending time with my DS and am so in love but at the same time, look forward to the day I can move him out of our (albeit nice) 1 bed flat.

Grateful for thoughts / opinions. :)
