Flexible working request

Can anyone advise if a request to reduce working days from 5 to 2 or 3 can be rejected due to service provision??

Not an expert, but as I understand it your employer must consider a request for flexible working, but doesn't have to agree to it. How do you propose to do five day's worth of work in two or three?

They need to give business reasons as to why they can't accommodate it. So if you mean they feel they would not be able to provide their service to their customers then yes they can. If you think it is possible to continue to provide the same level of service then you can appeal laying out how it would be possible to achieve this
