Been following the student HV thread with interest and have applied for a place in Essex.

I have been a midwife for 15 years and have lost my mojo a bit but am scared to make a change in case it's not the right one. I have 4 midwife friends who are currently training to be HVs who are very positive and recommend it. I would look forward to the course but whilst I have read up and researched the role, feel I am going in a bit blind. Would appreciate an honest appraisal of the job from anyone who knows please!
