Can anyone please tell me if I can only apply for flexible working, after I?ve had my baby?

I am due on 4th August and wondered if I could apply and get it sorted out now before I go on maternity leave?

You can apply once per year. Personally I would hold back as what you think you would like and what you actually would like once you are going back to work can be very different.

You don't have the right to apply unless you have a child. If you already have another child then you might be able to apply but I advise you not to. You may change your mind for a start, but also it may be very difficult for your employer to make an assessment of whether the business can support your request so far in advance.
