Anyone have any recommendations/ ones to avoid?

They all seem to offer similar...

if you are a sole trader you can probably avoid having to get one.

otherwise the co op are the least worst

I have set myself up as a ltd company, but it's only me - I'm guessing because I'm ltd I will need one. I was leaning towards the co-op...

I have my company account with the co op
DH's company use Santander - will be movingto co-op soon
use the FSB free account forever route

Just opened one with HSBC (bank with them anyway) - 18 months free banking then when it chnages after that if its all direct, no cheques etc it should still be free. All set up in less than 2 hours.

Cards came quickly after that and all the online stuff seems very secure.
