WFTC Question

Hi, can anyone give me a rough idea of how much WFTC I would be entitled to if working 25 hours per week (term time only) at £12 per hour.

I am a lone parent. No childcare costs as ds in full time school and dd will hopefully be with me (job is playgroup leader) and then in full time nursery.

I just have no idea. WFTC calculater no longer available and want to make an informed decision before deciding whether to apply!!

Atm, I am childminding and allowed to earn £60 per week before having my IS deducted so this is an alternative idea in case I don't get the childminding job I really want for September!

TIA Smile

Work out your gross income for year then i may be able to give you more of an idea.
On £7000 a year my combined CTC and WFTC is approx £5000

It's around £12,000 a year.

My rent is around £65 pw and council tax £800 a year(although I think there is a single adult occupancy discount?) Does that make a difference to how much WFTC you I would get?

I think the aim is for a set income for certain circumstances , I am on my own with 2 kids and I think the aim is £14,000 (wages + wftc/ctc)

there is a website that you can use to work out your entitlements. Let me find a link for you.
