I am a mum of 2 in my 3rd year at University. If anyone has a spare 5 mins could you please fill in this questionnaire about extending Parental Leave. It doesn't ask for any personal details

Hi Lisa

I've carried out your survey. I'm a massive fan of shared parental leave - DH and I shared leave with our DD. In your survey i said we wouldn't take advantage of the new parental leave as the current one worked really well for us. I took 8 1/2 months and he took 3 1/2. I can't see our employer let us both bob in and out of work.

I am a huge supporter of anything that promotes more equal shared childcare. The problem with current parental leave arrangements (that mean we can't utilise them) is the lack of any additional paternity pay over and above SPP amounts, which isn't enough for us to cover our costs.
