Annual leave entitlement and the NHS

Not sure if anyone can help, but I have 14 years service in the NHS, so on leaving was entitled to the long service element of annual leave. For 3 years I have worked for a different sector but have now been successful in getting a job back in the NHS, am I right in thinking that under Agenda for change I retain my long service entitlement to annual leave??

You might need to negotiate it. I was in a similar position and was told it wasn't automatic as I had a break in service. It was a bit of a deal breaker for me and I did successfully manage to get it.

Check local policy - we give it if break in service is less than 5 yrs (I think)
