I'm french living in Paris.

I had an interview for an IT Computer position but it didn't happen as I was expecting. A the beginning everything was going well. When suddenly I got stuck to one of his question that I couldn't understand so I asked him to repeat but three times. I felt really embarrassed and could guess in the recruiter's voice that things are going wrong.

I'm aware that my listening in english is not good enough even that I did a lot to make it better by studying. I don't have much opportunities here to speak with english native speakers. Then I thought that I should find some people for regular conversation. So I would like to know some with who I can exchange and make good relationship, may be friends. It would be great. I would be also delighted to help people who wishes in french. I sometimes goes to London but I don't stay enough time to become fluent in. You may notice that I need to make my writing better too.

Then if anybody is interested to get in touch with me. We can manage the time conversation and I can easily give a call in UK. This are really serious and make to happen in the nice, friendly and good atmosphere...

I found the best way to improve a language is to live/work in the countr whose language you'd like to learn. Is spending 6 months or so in England, Ireland or America an option???
