Realistically our only way forward in life at the moment is if we leave our home town for somewhere cheaper. If neither of us change jobs we'll both have long commutes which I don't think is realistic for us at the moment with young dc.
It should be easier for me to get a new job than dp - however I've just had two months off on sick leave during/after a mc. I'm guessing potential employers will view this poorly? Oh, and I'm newly pg again.....
