I am wondering if you can give any tips on best way to handle this brainwave I've had.

Luckily I've got a permanent job and I'm on mat leave at the moment. I've just moved nearby to a company I used to work for 10 years ago (gulp! Feels like yesterday). I was well respected and well liked and occasionally kept up with some senior colleagues over the years.

Now I've got 2 beautiful Dc and I go to a play zone joined onto the company 2 x a week with my children. I know my colleagues would like to see my kids, so I've been planning for a while to get us all cleaned up and pop in and see them.

Should I just go in and ask at reception for some of the names I know? Or should I try to get in touch with them by email first and say I'll be popping in on x day. Probably the latter option sounds best.

Obviously I'd like to work there again, but probably the first stage is getting in contact again, then I'd hear if any job opportunities were coming up.

Do you think blinding them with the cuteness of my dc is the best way to do this?

Let them know first. And definitely impress them with cuteness, how could they resist :) maybe go there first
