I have worked in a shop for 2 years and 4 months. I work Tuesday and Friday.
I explained in the interview that I need 2 fixed days because I need to arrange child care. My daughter goes to an after school club and they need to know what days I do.
My manager has said that they need me to do lunch cover 2 days and 1 full day. They say it is a change in staffing needs since our full timer left . However they replaced her.
I think they have been working up to this.
What can I do?
I explicitly said I can only do the job 2 days a week.
My contract does say 16 hours and to be able to work according to the shops needs.
Do I have a verbal agreement?
I really need some advice.
