Hi. I work in HR and returned to work in Sept after having baby number 1 and I want to compare my company's maternity & paternity policy to other similar companies out there.
The company is heavy industry with around 2000 employees and a male:female ratio of 80:20.
Our maternity policy is 7 weeks at full pay, 33 weeks SMP and 12 weeks unpaid. The paternity policy is 1 week at full pay and 2nd week at half way.
I am happy to share my report with anyone else that can help. You do not need to give me your company name, but an indiciation of the industry and headcount would be be helpful.
