Business rates for sole trader

I started up as a sole trader a month ago and wondered if I need to pat rates.

I work from home 10-20 hours a week on my computer but no part of my home is soley used for the business. Info on this is conflicting so what do I need to do?

My only recommendation is to phone HMRC small business advice line - I'm a self-employed sole trader and I've always found them really helpful for tax questions - good luck
