Long term career goals - do you have any?

I've been working for myself for nearly 2 years and love it, can't see myself going back to a regular job for the foreseeable future.

But I have been thinking about the future and musing whether I should have a long term strategy. I'm the sort of person that needs new stuff to get my teeth into periodically. Not sure how compatible the grand masterplan is with freelancing though!

So what do you think, and what are your goals?

Interesting question.

I feel it is diffcult being freelance, as one has to flex to the market to some extent.

And I feel as it is "only" me there is a limit to what I can physically deliver and therefore achieve/earn.

I do sometimes dream about expanding, but then it becomes a business and a lot more frightening!

So to answer your question, no!

OP - What could your goals be? What sort of freelancing do you do?
