has anyone used GBBO for their website and had problems?

HI I used GBBO to make my website two years ago, now I am supposed to act to stop it being suspended, GBBO doesn't seem to exist, and I cannot log into that account, they tell me that my website doesn't exist either. So now I am in touch with nominet who tell me that it will cost a tenner to change 'registrar' - what does that mean? also when I start the process it then tries to charge me £96 quid. Luckily I begged an extra 4 weeks grace but I am so confused by it all....
anyone had similar problems or have good knowledge about these things?

I used GBBO 2 years ago and I recently received an email to say I had to renew the domain name. I had to log in to pay the fee which was about £3 per year. The user name was my website address (I think) and the password was my Google password.
It worked fine.
