How much I should charge as a freelancer?

I've been earning £15 per hour as an employee.

Have now gone self employed. How much should I be charging to receive equivalent rate (to cover tax, NI, holidays, sickness, etc.)?

TIA

It really depends what you are freelancing in - what the sector is, where you are etc. It's probably best to see if you can find out what other equivalent freelancers charge and base it on the 'going rate'.

Don't forget to factor in things like pension and other benefits of being employed - sick pay, maternity pay, holidays, doing your tax return, redundnancy/job security etc etc
