Change bank.
Co op FSB account is free
Santander is still free I think
ANY bank will give you free for a while
leave when the time is up
or make them move you to a free account

Yup, Co op FSB account. Totally free. But you have to join the FSB, which isn't free.

It would cost more for me to join the federation than my banking charges are.

Thanks though.

Well, like TP said, others usually start out free. I know HSBC does a free year or something like that.

The fs has an awful lot more members benefits than the free banking. I think it's worth every penny even without the free banking.
