Anyone know any good employment solicitors in the East Midlands. We are planning a counter attack and we need some advice.

ACAS are good for advice and it's free, good starter point, defo worth a call.

First step would surely be to challenge the redundancy under appeal/grievance procedures if he feels it's being done unreasonably?

Check your household insurance policy. Legal cover for employment tribunal is often covered.

Also, if you go for a compromise agreement, the employer is required to cover around £300 of legal fees.
