Hi,

I was lucky enough to be called for a second interview which will take place tomorrow!

I am so nervous I can already feel my heart beating in my ears! So very bad.
And when I am like this (ONLY AT INTERVIEWS) I sometimes ask the most stupid questions (e.g. like IT person asking if computer needs to be switched on before using it- kind of thing....). It is just mad.

I cant even think of preparing myself.

For first interview I took this attitude:
I know my job, I know what I am capable of and what I do not know.
So I am just going to answer questions accordingly and honestly!
If they like me they do, if not they dont!

But I need this job really badly, so I SHOULD prepare for the second interview :(

What can I expect at 2nd interview?

Thanks for any advise! xxx

I don't know but dh is an interview King and he says that the most important thing to remember is that they want to give you the job.

Really???????
Now that is a calming thought! Will repeat that to myself a few dozen times!
Thanks!

Prepare some insightful questions about the company/department/environment you are going to be working in. Interviewers love it.

OneHandFlapping:
Thank you will try and prepare some good questions.
Do you have a sample question? Just to see I am on the right path...
Thanks xxx

Yes, that's why they have asked you for an interview! Grin

They are willing you to be the person who they can give the job to so they can crack on with whatever else they have to do.

Structure of department/how job you're going for fits in with what other people are doing.

How they approach something or other problematic in your field.

Systems in place to control whatever.

Any questions that will help you decide whether this is a job you really want (you may already know the answer to this regardless of what they say)

What sort of job is it?

Thank you OneHandFlapping!
The job is handling all exports of the company.
There is no other person with me doing the same job.
I really would love this job.
But selling myself has always been my weakness.
when I asked my bosses (who know me for over 10 years) they said
it will be a piece of cake for me!

wish I had that confidence in myself :(.

So mainly I should concentrate on questions which would help ME decide if the job is right for me! right? Is that better approach for 2nd interview?

I do have the confidence, But I do not like telling people how good I do this or the other! I just love to get on with my job and feel satisfied I done an excellent job at the end of the day!
