Dh isn't entitled to paternity pay but is he entitled to paternity leave?

He works a few jobs which officially are casual contracts except one, that one doesn't earn enough for paternity pay but would he still be entitled to the leave? Or does he have to class it as parental leave?

He is trying to get a new job to replace that job as they are incredibly unreliable to work for and how would he approach time off for baby with them?

re the new job, its usually only a couple of weeks so no different to interviewing when you have a holiday booked, places are just happy to know in advance usually
