Please could someone explain what it means?

Because I think it may have been happening to me.

Basically, when a manager is looking for faults constantly (even if they would ignore other staff doing the same mistakes), overly eager to head towards disciplinary processes where other people would just have a quiet word to them.

Why do you think you are being managed out?

Ok then it's not that.

More a case of being excluded from emails and meetings which makes it hard to do my job well, and manager taking on responsibility for stuff which really should come to me, before I get the chance to do it.

Have you raised it with your manager / their manager? Being excluded from emails and meetings would (to me) be more of a concern, whereas your manager may just be trying to be helpful or not have enough of their own work to do when taking on some of your work themselves :)
