Mediation

Hi, I'm currently working in Financial Services and have 14 years experience in man-management, developing and coaching others and dealing with conflict. I am thinking of becoming self-employed next year and looking at mediation. Has anyone experience of being or using a mediator? Is it possible to make a living from it? All advice gratefully received!

There is LOTS of money in mediation - as it is compulsory in divorce cases now.
Use Linkedin to make contact with some friendly law firms and then hook up with one of the established firms in your town - who are in fact staffed with free range bods...

Thanks TIP2, do you know anyone who does it?

I know 'of' people, and I know of firms who do it - a friend has just finished her divorce and the mediator was FAB on getting the financial settlement done : all paid for through legal aid and the courts service.

Worth pursuing then, thanks
