Notice of pregnancy when at risk of redundancy

Hi I hope someone can help me with this.

I want to give work notice that I am pregnant and unsure how I should put this to them in a letter.

My end date is end of December. My due date is mid March and i am currently 15 weeks. Found out i was at risk of redundancy within a few days of finding out I was pregnant.

As I will not be taking Maternity leave as such but still entitled to maternity pay as I am still there in the 15th week before my due date i was wondering how i phrase this in the letter?

Are you just at risk of redundancy or have you received proper notice that your role is definitely redundant? It makes a difference to how you approach this.

the day i was told i was at risk i received a letter that my role is at risk of redundancy and my employment will end 31 december should they not be able to place me somewhere else they already let me know it will not be possible to do so. the department i work for is massively reducing so there will be no need for me
