Please help me! I had a written warning from my old job that is now off my record - it was a few years ago and stayed on my file for 6 months

My soon to be employer has a section on their reference form for any details of any disciplinaries. Cam they include the one i received even though its 'spent'?

Will be really upset if so as it was for something out of my control yet shit flowed downhill :(

Was your warning spent by the time you left the company?

Yes, it has been spent for about 2 years

references are very cold now, so I wouldn't worry the company I work for state the dates you worked there, job and salary scale and point if relevant although I would have thought even that was questionable.
and that the person was a trustworthy employee, or omit it if not, but we are talking about real piss takers.
On a positive note, I imagine it is a real Peter perfect who never in their career had a warning, either informal or formal, I know I have, the last was very unfair, but the air was cleared as my manager didn't appreciate how long it took us to set up of a morning and our IT issues, we can go off line for hours at a time, this has not improved but at least he knows we aren't at out shopping, but the 2 others 20 odd years ago where fair and I learned from them.
