ok heres the scenario

i'm considering applying for a full time job. currently work p-t.

i work as a teacher in scotland.

i am currently on a 1 year contract which ends end of june. if i was to get a new job in the same council it would start mid august.

how long would i have to be in this post before i would be entitled to full mat pay?

in england it is something like 26 weeks before week 15 of your pregnany....

also if it is for the same LEA then it is the same employer so wont matter

i was assuming that they would'nt take into account the year that i have just worked for them since i will be 'unemployed' from end june - mid august. do you think this is right? how can i find out without getting in touch with employer?
