Boss shouted at me for something I didn't do

Yesterday at work I had to do a stock rotation on the freezer foods. One girl done it before me and I finished off for her after-wards. The chicken fillets got put in with the breads and as I didn't know they were there I told the Supervisor that there was no chicken fillets left.

Anyway another colleague came up to me after holding the chicken fillets box and told me that I had put them into the other freezer with the breads. I told her I didn't and the Supervisor told me that I was lying about it.

Now they think I am lying about it but how should I be when I go into work today? I obviously will act normal but I'm still upset that they think I am lying about it. I did tell the Supervisor that if I did do it I would of said but she still thinks I am a liar.

Remain calm and if it's mentioned again, just state clearly that it was a different member of staff who put them there and you don't know why you're being blamed for someone else's mistake. Try not to get embarrassed or upset. Good luck.

Can you approach the other staff member and explain that she needs to own up?

Your bosses sound very petty. It's only a few chicken fillets for gods sake. It's not like they were left out of the freezer and they went to waste costing the company money. I know it's hard but just try and move on from it
