I hate my job

I hate my job and I am going on maternity leave in 2 weeks, hurray! I thought it would be a great job when I started but it is getting more and more bonkers and disorganised and dysfunctional and frustrating (argh!). I love my colleagues which is the saving grace but we are all so unhappy, I bet they will all be gone by the time I am supposed to go back.

I can't see myself going back there after my maternity leave.

How hard is it to go back to work after having a baby?

Going back? Horrible, I think. Though in my day you got 3 months, in reality.

Being a worker, OTOH, was pretty nice. Enjoy the "me" time. And look for a better job. Enjoy the break!!!

Despite loving my career pre dc, I found it heartbreaking to go back after having dc1. I would use maternity leave to look for a better job and then you will have a new challenge to look forward to when it is time to go back.

I hate my job too. And I've never had (and never will have) maternity leave or a break of longer than two weeks.

It's not the job, as such. I've had lots of jobs and I've hated them all, eventually, after the novelty wears off (6 months max).

I just hate going to work. I want to stay at home and potter. I feel so sorry for myself some days when the alarm clock goes off that I could cry real tears of self-pity. Pathetic innit.
