hi, i need some help/advice. im being made redundant in December but am currently on maternity leave with my DS2. i have no idea about benefits (the citizens advice were not much help either) when i was working with DS1 my work provided childcare vouchers.

if i find a new job looking at childcare costs for 2 i'd only be earning enough to cover it and so it seems a bit pointless working to put the kids in childcare

can anyone confirm what kind of benefits i would be entitled to if i chose to be a SAHM

thanks in advance

for msot people having the second child is the time for reevaluing whether it pays to work. oth it is good to keep in the job market. but you are being made redundant. so that is a different issue.
