He started the job back in June, he's currently 2 weeks shy of the end of his probation period. He's rang me just now, on the verge of tears. His boss shouts at him and humiliates him in front of the whole office at least once a day telling him he's useless etc. I get a phone call like this every day.
To clarify, DH is very good at what he does. However, to save money the boss refuses to let him do what he knows will work as its too time consuming. So their clients get a lash up job which doesn't work and of course they complain. Then DH gets it in the beck from both sides. I can't really explain it very well but it's the system the boss insists on that's at fault, not DH.
He nearly walked out today but he just can't afford to. He is job hunting again but is there anything he can do about this chap? He's in such a precarious position :(
