Nurses - is it hard to get a copy of your certificate?

I qualified mid 90s, have let registration lapse, and considering a return to nursing course.

I think all I need is my certificate. Is this right? And how do I go about it?

you'll need to apply to the university you studied at for a copy. it will cost you. call the NMC to see what else you need.

It wasn't a university. It was traditional nursing course. And the nursing school has gone. Will try NMC. Thanks.

can you remember your old registration number? I am sure the NMC will help, they have a helpline, the numbers on thier website.
Good luck for getting back in the nursing saddle!

When I did my return to nursing course I didn't have to provide my nursing certificate. The fact that you have a PIN shows that you were registered and have done one.

Call the university to make sure it is needed before you go to a lot of trouble.

I don't have a PIN any more. It's been that long Sad
