I'm trying to write a letter of application, and need help with how to word the bit about why I am applying and what I can bring to it - how do you start these things?

There are lots of websites that can give you ideas about what to put in an application - try googling "letter of application" and see what comes up. You can talk about organisation skills, teamwork, any other particular skills relevant to the post you have like languages or IT skills. Make sure it is spell-checked and proof-read by somone else and is grammatically correct. Good luck!

Thanks Helly...will give it a go. It's the wording I'm stuck with - I have to tell them why I'm interested in the position, and a)it sounds naff to say "I am interested in the position.." and b)I can't think how to put 'why' into words! Hope Google can help me...
