Any tips? Just sent out my first and wondering whether to chase, 5 days on. Some journos have picked it up and done a piece but the paper I really want (the local rag) hasn't. Is it okay to send to other journos in the same paper after 5 days?

Yeh - reckon our "American cousins" would be so reticent? Phone them up and bug them!

Yes, do it! :) I can almost 99% guarantee the byline will not be "we're only printing this because the gobby cow keeps calling"!
