I am stopping work at beginning of Nov six weeks before the baby is due. However I am being put forward to be on a specific committee that only has three meetings a year and if I am successful the first meeting will be at the end of November. I would hate to miss a meeting - the position is for three years and there are three meetings a year, so it would be silly to get it and not be able to go to the first three meetings due to mat leave. Would I be able to use one of my kit days for it even before the baby is born?
