Working from home - ironing?

Mine is the usual story, SAHM wanting to earn a bit of extra money to pay for something extra like a holiday.
After a brainstorm we have decided that doing other people's ironing is a strong possibility. TBH ironing doesn't bother me that much and we have Sky+ so I can back up loads of programmes to watch while I'm doing it. (Could always cancel Sky and then wouldn't have to iron at all!)
I was wondering what other people do. Do I need to pick up and drop off, or get whoever to drop their stuff off at my house. I couldn't go to people's houses to do it as DS is 15mo and he'd probably wreck the joint! What turn-around time do you offer and most importantly, how much do you charge?
Plus any tips would be great. It's always better to learn from other people's mistakes than make them yourself!

Someone used to do my ironing (apart from dh) - she would collect and deliver it back again (the next day if I wanted, but was never that urgent so could wait). She supplied big bag to put clothes in, we supplied the hangers but she always had some if we didn't have enough. She used to have polythene covers to put over a few items at a time, to prevent them from getting dirty (a bit like the stuff you get from dry cleaners).

She did an absolutely brilliant job, and charged £7/hour - we usually had about 1.5 hours-worth. I think we probably had a good rate.

I know people often charge per item instead, but I somehow preferred the way she did it - and she was definitely a quick ironer!
