Having been for an interview in a private school as a flute teacher where I thought - I just can't work here, I got an email from a state school asking me to go in to talk to them.
Upshot is that I have been given the school hall to teach in, make my own timetable and the best bit I can run a pre school music group in the school hall first thing in the morning.
Actually the bestest best bit is that the school are now trying to get funding for me to work therapeutically with some of the children with special needs - which is where I really want my career to go.
Thanks to everyone on my "ever thought - I can't work here" thread who predicted that exactly this would happen.
